    Gum Spirits of Turpentine
    is derived from slash pine trees
    (pinus eliottii),
    growing in south Georgia, USA, using sustainable (

    ) forest practices.

    is the species often used as a benchmark by which others are judged
    .
    Our turpentine does not contain impurities found in industrial grades of turpentine.  Our unique method for harvesting pine gum, combined with our tried and true distillation process, ensures the
    unmatched quality
    of our product.
    Click below to see a short video demonstrating how we harvest pine gum.  After the collection process is complete (the collection bag is full), the raw pine gum is then distilled, separating the turpentine from the rosin, also called colophony.  Both products are then packaged and ready for purchase.
