About the size of the silver above. The bigger chunks pictured above break up very easily. When I shake the batch of silver above in the open sunlight in front of a window I can easily see a silver dust cloud float up in the air. This tells me the silver is at least micron size or 10^(negative 6th). I believe it is even smaller in size but am not with the tools to be able to measure this exactly.
I know what I am doing and making. Silver being purified is .999 silver shot. This is important to know because when you purify low grade silver products such as .500 you will have to purify the silver twice to be left with 999+. This is due to the fact that too many impurities remain behind that can not all be removed through the first purification. With.999 silver their is no issue achieving .999+ silver thorough first purification using oxidation reduction.
I have a chemistry back ground up to organic two and a mechanical engineering degree. Silver was produced by me using nitric acid and oxidation reduction reactions. S
toichometrical equations were used to insure quality and balanced equations. I take into account weights, purities, densities, temperatures & concentrations of all products being used in reactions. Final silver product was washed several times profusely to remove all traces of copper nitrate solution and other nitrate impurities that remain. Final product is .999+ silver.
