    This 4-screw kit includes 2 new butt plate screws and 2 new buttstock swivel plate screws.  These screws provide all of the wood screws needed for Lee Enfield No.4 (Mk1, Mk1* or Mk2)
    & SMLE
    rifles. They are new, unused, slotted, oval head screws have a shiny black oxide finish.
    Butt plate screws:
    Dimensions:
    - Length - 1.5"
    - Head diameter - .49"
    - Shank diameter (measured above threads) - .29"
    - Slot width - .07"
    Although correct for Lee Enfield No.4 rifles, these butt plate screws can be used for earlier Lee Enfield SMLE rifles, such as the No1 Mk III.  For earlier rifles your original screws may have a slightly blunted tip.  My screws replace earlier blunted screws with no problem. They are new, unused, unissued and have a black oxide coating.  These screws do not fit an Ishapore 2A or 2A1.
    Butt stock swivel plate screws:
    Measurements:
    - Length - 1"
    - Head diameter - .35"
    - Shank diameter - .20" measured below the head and .19" just above the     threads.
    These wood screws attach the butt swivel bracket plate to the butt stock on No.4 Lee Enfield rifles.
