Great set of four original Eddie Dean PRC pressbooks. All are fully complete in excellent with no cut outs. All pages are bright and clean, generally free of any rips, tears or notable creasing. Here is the rundown of each pressbook:
WILD WEST 1946 - Incredibly rare lavish glossy pressbook to the Eddie Dean-Lash Larue PRC Cinecolor westerns, THE WILD WEST. Beautiful pressbook is one of the few we've seen from this error with a glossy color cover promoting the Cinecolor aspect of the feature. Display worthy one sheet style cover features great images of Eddie Dean, His Horse Flash, Roscoe Ates, Al (Lash) Larue, Louise Currie and the PRC logo. Complete 8 page pressbook measures 11x17 and features fascinating articles (designed for newspaper publication) credits, synopsis, double page of Exploitation Ideas along with posters and ad slicks. Pressbook is in fine condition, free of any rips tears or stains. Pressbook shows minor edge wear/very light creasing.
WEST TO GLORY (1947)
Top eight page pressbook to the Eddie Dean feature co-starring Roscoe Ates and Delores Castle. Complete 8 page pressbook measures 11x17 and features fascinating articles about the film, promotional contests, premiums along with film credits, synopsis, double page of Exploitation Ideas and full page of posters and ad slicks. Pressbook is in fine condition, free of any rips tears or stains.
HAWK OF POWDER RIVER (1948)
Complete six page pressbook to the Eddie Dean feature co-starring Jennifer Holt. Pressbook features four pages of Publicity stories, radio spots, promotional tie ins and back page of lobbies and one sheets. Two page insert features variety of ad slicks. Pressbook is in top shape with a 3/4” tear on the left hand side (as per photo).
THE WESTWARD TRAIL (1948) Complete pressbook to the Eddie Dean feature has four pages of Publicity stories, radio spots, promotional tie ins (including one for Dixie Cup) and back page of lobbies and one sheets. Two page insert features variety of ad slicks. Pressbook is in top shape with little wear.
All pressbooks will ship flat.
