I spiral tape these w/ Priority mail tape to save weight of a box and save you money.
One customer was irate that the tape was stuck to the steel.
I suggested he chuck it in his lathe and clean it.
If it is a problem, advise and I will box it for you and the weight will be more.
Spectrometer does not differentiate between 430 & 440.
15.84% Chromium, 60 Rockwell @1900 deg heat treat, sparks like carbon content. Your call.
These are marked 28" but vary between 27-1/2 to 28 because of an end chamfer.
