This hard drive is a plug-and-play internal one preloaded with High Sierra already installed on it. You just install it in your MacBook Pro or Mac Mini and boot it up.
After purchasing; in a buyers note please put the year of your Macbook Pro or Mac Mini so I can verify that High Sierra is compatible with your hardware.  Example: Macbook Pro 2010 (mid).

This hard drive is in perfect working condition.  It may or may not have some writing on it.  I inspect and test every single hard drive that I sell.  This hard drive comes preloaded with the Mac OS High Sierra (10.13.3) installed on it.  It's setup so that you can install it in your Macbook Pro (late 2009) or Mac Mini 2010 or later.  Then all you have to do is boot of your system.
It's a 2.5" SATA drive. It's a mechanical hard drive. This will NOT fit a 3.5" iMac or desktop computer. Again, it's for MacBook Pro or Mac Mini.
No mounting screws or screws are included.  Your MacBook or Mac Mini should have them or you can buy some for cheap on eBay if you need them. Do make sure that your system has at least 2 GB of RAM. I would highly recommend at least 8 GB of RAM, though.
This hard drive does NOT come with an installation disk. The operating system High Sierra is already installed on the hard drive.
You can check your MacBook Pro's serial number (which is located inside).  Take off the bottom cover and you will see a serial number.  Also, you can go to the Apple icon on the top left and click "about this Mac".  You can check it at:
