A very fine and scarce example of a 2 piece Civil War period Confederate Cavalry manuscript "C" button.  Albert# CS-129-A.   This example has a backmark that reads  "  HALFMANN  &  TAYLOR  .  MONTGOMERY  .  ALABAMD ".     Button measures 22.65mm.  Button has much of its original gilded finish remaining.   S
