Description
A very rare and nice example of an excavated 2 piece Civil War Confederate Irish Jasper Greens of Savannah, Georgia coat size button. The Irish Jasper Greens of Savannah, Georgia became Company A of the First Volunteer Regiment of Georgia. One of the most desirable Confederate buttons. Albert's GA-18-A1. Button has a dark excavated patina but does retain areas of its original gilding. Nice straight shank. Button measures 22.06mm.
