    Description

    Civil War 83rd Pennsylvania Volunteers French chasseur coat button.
    It is a 1-piece, cast white metal, convex coat button. The front has a droop wing eagle with 13 stars above. The front looks like it was cleaned.
    It is listed as PA 48 in Albert's and PA235 in Tice's button book. The reverse has a raised C F PARIS backmark. The shank is straight. It measures 16.5 mm in diameter.
