Description
Seven recovered uniform buttons total. Six general service buttons and one State of New York Volunteers button. All buttons were recovered from a common grave on the battlefield of Antietam, MD, back in the late 1800s. The buttons are mounted on a 1800s museum cardstock with calligraphy inscription telling the history. Originally acquired at the Dalton CW show a few years ago from the Union Drummer Boy and has been in my personal collection since. Please see photos.
