This outfit is from
1958-1965 Candy Fashion Doll Giftset,
for a 21" tall Candy doll
.
The outfit consists of a blue suit with a contrast red trim, featuring a pencil skirt and tailored jacket. The suit is worn with a pale pink satin blouse. Unusually, the matching red bag still has its plastic hinges intact. These are often broken, so the bag will display as originally intended. Please note that this ensemble is vintage (over 60 years old now) and as such, there are two small holes on one of the sleeves of the jacket – see photo – these could be carefully repaired and would not in any case detract from the outfit when displayed on a doll. The hat has some damage and is held together iwht a safety pin on the interior.
