    Description

    18MM US Army Infantry officer button made in the 1820-1830 period. Unlisted in both the Tice and Alberts reference book. It is however found in Johnson's 1948 Uniform Button book as #195H with a backmark of  21 groups of 4 dots. I don't imagine these come on the market very often. Some of the finish has worn away, but still a beautiful button with a great old patina and strong shank. I guarantee the button to be as described.
