executive producer Edward Finney (1903-1983), who has written in blue ink:
"Enclosed find small photo of myself. Rather than give you one still here's my campaign on 'The Prairie' and many pictures of me. I've arrowed those I'm in. Best to you Ed Finney."
Finney has arrowed in photos in which he appears: He's the guy in the cowboy hat and loud cowboy attire. Yee-ha!
Finney was a Hollywood producer/director and advertising/publicity manager for the Poverty Row studio Grand National. His claim to fame: He gave Tex Ritter his first screen test and his subsequent film debut in
Song of the Gringo
(1936). Finney served as producer on a number of films during the 1930s and '40s, including
Arizona Days, Sing, Cowboy, Sing, Where the Buffalo Roam, Riders of the Frontier, Riot Squad, Corregidor, Gun Girls

, et al.
