Framed Confederate Bullets & Officer's Button From Gen Forrest's Camp Site

Up for sale is an amazing group of Civil War Confederate artifacts found at General Nathan Bedford Forrest's camp near Gunn's Church, Mississippi.  A plaque shows they were presented in 1998 to a well known Tennessee amateur historian and collector of Civil War artifacts. In the center of the display is a Confederate officer's "drooped wing" Eagle uniform button.  The button is in very good condition, with no markings.  The shank is bent over, but intact.
Surrounding the button are 5 "dropped" (unfired) lead musket bullets.  The display was professionally framed in a deep shadow box frame.  The button and lead bullets appear to be in good condition and are stuck to the backing by silicone gel, with comes off easily, with no problems.  The frame is 13.25 x 15 inches.
The display came from the estate of the collector who had studied and explored almost all of the major, and many of the minor, Civil War battlefields.  We have no information about why it was awarded, but he would have been certain about the information on the plaque.
It makes and excellent display piece.
