    These are sweet tasting!  They are washed and sorted by size. I do my best to get rid of the bad ones!
    Chestnuts are rich in nutrients and low on the glycemic index.
    Can roast or boil, great for cooking and they make delicious bakery!
    I have a small orchard on a few acres in SW Washington.

    Chestnuts are picked, cleaned, sorted, bagged and put into a cooler before shipping. I add sawdust in each bag to help with moisture control which will keep your chestnuts as fresh as possible. Nuts will loose some weight after initial weighing to when you receive your package. The sawdust is added after weighing out the chestnuts. I will not give any refunds due to lost weight after packaging.
