General Zachary Taylor Rough & Ready 1848 Presidential Coat Button

Non dug pre Civil War General Zachary Taylor 1848 Rough & Ready presidential campaign coat button. The front has a beautiful patina and features General Taylor in his uniform. The reverse is tinned iron with an RMDC geometric design backmark. The brass shank is floating style. This great button measures 23 mm in diameter.
