1930-31 Kodak Walter Dorwin Teague Rose Beau Brownie #2 Camera
Up for auction a beautiful 1930-31 Kodak Beau Brownie rose camera #2 designed by Walter Dorwin Teague. In good original condition, the colors are bright. There is minor scuffs and wear from years of use. I have other colors available in the 2 and 2A available in separate auctions, as well as the Petite, You can see them all in a few pictures. The Kodak Beau Brownie came in two models, the 2 and 2A and were made from 1930 to 1933. They were styled by the leading American designer Walter Dorwin Teague, who created a modernistic geometric pattern in two tones on the front panel, which was enameled in a color matching the leatherette covering of the rest of the camera.
The Beau Brownies came in five colors including old rose, blue, black/purple, brown/tan and green. The rose and green model were only made from 1930 to 1931 and are harder to find. Also available was a matching leather case.
The No. 2 Beau Brownie used 120 film with images 2¼" × 3¼" and originally cost .00. The No. 2A Beau Brownie used 116 film with images 2¼" × 4¼" and originally cost .00.
SHIPPING/PICK-UP: The shipping will be flat rate of  shipping in anywhere in the lower 48 U.S. states. The shipping price includes boxes, supplies (bubble wrap etc), shipping, handling, and insurance through fedex. Local pick-up is always welcomed. When possible I disassemble furniture to assure safe shipping.
