You are bidding on a BRAND NEW, Unused Texas Instruments 99/4A Home Computer GROM or CARTRIDGE or COMMAND MODULE Port. This TI Part # 1037051-3 is designed to be inserted into the mother board of the TI-99/4A Home Computer so TI solid state software cartridges (GROM cartridges) can be used to access the main board. This right angle, 36 pin male to 36 pin female connector gets worn or dirty over time and requires replacement as cartridges and modules are pressed into the port continuously. This new port can sometimes be just the 'fix' a buggy console needs by providing good contact to all 36 points on main board and cartridge. Replace yours today with this original UNUSED TI part!!
PLEASE NOTE: To replace this part, the TI-99/4A console does need to be disassembled. Before purchasing, be sure you are up to the task. Not difficult but does require disassembly and assembly. No soldering required for replacement.
