Original, studio-issued HUGE 17” x 21 ½” 12 page pressbook for the 1946 comedy “Night in Paradise”, based on the George S. Hellman novel, directed by Arthur Lubin (the Boris Karloff / Bela Lugosi “Black Friday”; the Bud Abbott / Lou Costello “Hold that Ghost”; the Rondo Hatton “The Spider Woman Strikes Back”; the Claude Rains “Phantom of the Opera”), starring Merle Oberon (“The Scarlet Pimpernel”l “Wuthering Heights”; “The Lodger”), Turhan Bey (“The Climax”; “The Mummy’s Tomb”), Thomas Gomez and Gale Sondergaard (the Sherlock Holmes “The Spider Woman”). This folded (fold line off-center) pressbook with full-color on reverse side of the cover, is in near excellent condition with edge and fold wear and some minor rips. Also included is an additional 7 pages of uncut ads (this folded ad section is in equally near excellent/excellent condition).
