    Description

NVIDIA K1 Shield 8” Tablet Replacement Battery - 3.85v 5000mah NEW. This battery is NOT ORIGINAL AND IS NOT PLUG AND PLAY! It does fit in the space, see second picture of the new battery next to the original. To install this battery you have to remove the original circuit board from the top of your Nvidia tablet battery. This is difficult and I ruined the circuit board the first time I attempted this repair and luckily I had another dead tablet battery to try again. I am not liable for any damage you do to your tablet or battery attempting this repair! You remove the circuit board from the original battery very carefully, the end of the circuit board farthest from the wires is the most delicate part so don’t just try to rip the last piece of tape off because it will break it. After removing the circuit board from the original you solder it onto the new battery terminals. I think it’s better to remove the circuit board at the top of the new battery and solder the circuit board terminals directly onto the battery terminals, but other people have just soldered the positive and negative wires on the new battery directly onto the original Nvidia battery circuit board. There are a couple videos on how to do this and I think there is at least one video using this battery. Another Chinese battery company has used my description to advertise their battery but beware, I tried to buy their battery and they attempted to rip me off twice. Please be aware, this battery says it’s 5000mah but there’s no way it is, it’s probably more like 4500 or so. As a result of this do not expect your tablet to have the same run time as with the original battery. Please watch the repair videos before you attempt this and be careful removing the tape from the original battery circuit board. Have a great day and good luck on your repair.
