    DESCRIPTION:
    This hard drive will work with A1278 A1286 A1297 A1342 A1347. It fit's MacBook Pro 13", 15" and 17".
    Please, in your buyer's note put the year and make of your Mac.  Example, MacBook Pro 2009 (mid).

    This hard drive is in great working condition. It comes with the Mac OS El Capitan (10.11.6) installed on it. You simply remove the bottom cover and install the hard drive in the correct spot.  Then, you boot up your Mac. Your Macbook Pro needs to be at least a mid 2007.  Otherwise, El Capitan can not be supported by your system.  Again, if you're Macbook Pro is older than 2007 (mid) it will not work).   You would need Snow Leopard for that.
    This hard drive is a 2.5" drive.  It will fit in your Macbook Pro perfectly. There are no mounting screws or screws included.  Your laptop should have them if you are replacing one that doesn't have a hard drive. Do make sure that your system has at least 2 GB of RAM.

    This hard drive does NOT come with an installation disk. The operating system El Capitan is already installed on the hard drive.
