1. First prepare a 32G sd-- card and insert it into the card slot of the camera. (The product comes without an sd-- card)
2. Press the button near the card slot for 4 to 5 seconds, then the red light will flash once and then stay lit, the cam is in standby mode at this time.
3. Press the button briefly and the red light will flash once, this indicates that the cam has taken a picture and stored it on the memory card.
4. Press the button for 3 seconds and the red light will blink 3 times and then go out. The cam now starts recording a video. Press the button 3 times again and the red light will come on steadily again, which means it will return to standby mode again.
5. Press the button for 4 to 5 seconds and the blue light will blink 5 times, which means you have turned the camera off.
