rare
example of a 1 piece flat pre Civil War era State of Maine Militia button.   Albert#  ME-4B-TY.   The backmark reads  "  TREBLE GILT   BEST RICH   STAND COLR (ribbon & feathers) "  .   Button retains much of its original gilded finish.  Button measures 21.77mm.  See photos for condition details.
