An scarce example of a gilded 2 piece convex pre Civil War period State of New York Militia button.   Albert# NY-14-TY.  Backmark reads  "  IMPERIAL . STANDD.  COL.  ".    Button measures 20.54mm.   Much of the gilded finish remains.
