Description

New rear foot peg REPAIR KIT for the Suzuki DRZ400 S and SM, fits 2000-2020  years.  It's very common for the rear peg to break off when the bike falls over if left folded out or to become loose, worn out and flop around.     Comes with all new installation hardware which is often lost or worn out.   Kit includes BOTH sides.  NOTE that the pictures of the complete pegs are for reference only, to show what they look like installed, and YOU ARE ONLY BUYING THE REPLACEMENT PEGS AND HARDWARE TO FIT TO YOUR EXISTING ORIGINAL DRZ400 PEG BRACKETS.   The pictures also shows how to install the kit in your stock brackets.   YOU ARE NOT BUYING WHOLE PEGS !!!   Just the pegs to fit into your original steel brackets. This kit is a great economical alternative to expensive OEM Suzuki pegs
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
This kit includes 2 steel plates, an improvement over the original to make operation smoother and prevent wear on the peg and peg bracket
Insert new spring and ball into aluminum peg, use a plate to hold down the spring using your thumb. The smooth side of the plate should face the peg. Careful not to let go and lose everything, it is under pressure.  I do not recommend grease because dirt will stick to it and wear out the parts.   Insert into the factory peg bracket in the direction as shown in the Ebay picture, and secure with the new pin and clip.   It will lock into place both extended and folded back !
