Royal Air Force 215 Squadron framed presentation badge, bomber squadron

Description

An interesting framed bullion wire badge of 215 Squadron Royal Air Force. It appears to be a memorial piece or presentation piece and is named "Charles Albert William Ariss 12.6.22 - 1.7.98". His age suggests that Ariss served with the unit in WWII, when it was a bomber unit fighting the Japanese in Burma. Unresearched, it measures 28 1/2 cms in width.
It will be wrapped well in bubble wrap but there is always a danger that the glass could be broken. Please bear this in mind.
