Description
Vintage 1950's Beacon Two-twenty five camera made by Whitehouse Products of Brooklyn, NY. Whitehouse was a camera manufacturer that made and sold simple bakelite snapshot cameras under the Beacon name (and later made for Argus). There were various models. This one, the Two-twenty five, uses 620 film (still available online), produces a 6x6cm negative and has a collapsible lens panel making it more compact when not in use. The Two-twenty five was manufactured from 1950 to 1958. This camera is in good shape and includes a 620 film take-up spool. The shutter works, fixed at 1/50th second (accuracy unknown but based on my experience it sounds and looks close). The lens is a doublet 70mm, slightly wide, and is coated. This could be a fun camera for retro photography. Ships via USPS Priority Mail.
