The ultimate box camera: a Brownie Bullet 127 Film camera in excellent condition. It comes with the box, manual, and one take up spool. The body is made from durable Bakelite, and the lens is clear. Made between 1957 and 1964 the Bullet was a promotional camera. Many families got this camera when they opened a bank account, saved up and mailed in Campbell soup can labels, or similar promotions. It was made in the US and in Brazil (as the Brownie Chiquita!) For a simple camera there are a few clever design touches. The 127 film is printed up neatly and easily to 3 1/2" X 5" prints. Since the camera had a very simple lens that caused a bit of distortion, the film plane was curved to eliminate it.
The overall look is a little bit art deco, with the parallel lines wrapping around the body and gentle curves. Overall one of Kodak's cleaner designs. This would be a nice display piece or a prop in a production.
