Vintage Rare Test Piece All White Belleek Ireland Ceramic Quizzical Cat Figurine

Description

This Belleek porcelain "quizzical cat" is unique in that it lacks the shamrock collar that usually decorates such figurines. In addition, it does not have a painted mouth or nose. It has green eyes with tiny black dots, but not the usual black marking above the eye. To the best of my knowledge from online searching, this is a rare test piece dating from 1980-81 (most Belleek test pieces are destroyed). It is marked on the bottom with the company's gold Seventh Mark sign. Please note that I am not an expert in antiques, nor in Belleek china.
The piece is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or crazing. It measures approximately 4 inches high. From non-smoking home.
