I can't decide what character this actually is.  I have narrowed it down to Monkey, Bear, or Mouse! lol  It is so cute, and in really good condition.  I am guessing this is from the 50's.  I found it at an Estate sale.  It is most likely stuffed with saw dust, like the dream pets are but it also has a wire armature.  It will hug around something, which I think is pretty cute.  If you lay it flat the eyes will close, upright they are open and to the side it will wink at least part of the time.  You have to fiddle with it a bit to get the wink.  I have no idea who made this,  but think it was a quality toy in it's time because of the armature.  It measures approx. 8 inches tall.
Smoke free environment currently, can not say for the life of the toy.  I detect no odor however. I am selling as it was found, have made no attempt to to clean or even wipe down.  I have been around a long time and have never seen one of these ever before, I think this is a pretty rare find!  Great addition for any toy collector, you will probably never see another one!
