Vinyl Hawaiian Doll Made in Hong Kong, 12 inches tall, marked “Made in Hong Kong” on back, probably 1940’s-50’s, stains to left arm, straight pins have been inserted into both ears, celluloid covering to back of sleep eyes is discolored with a tiny hole near eyelash edge of right eye, may be missing some “grass” from skirt back, slightly musty smell, could use cleaning, an exotic looking vintage doll with dark skin and unusual makeup that includes very long eyelashes, she wears a tiny bikini top with an elastic back and a “grass” tie in the front, she has green cotton panties and wears a grass skirt make of green cellophane sewn to a green waistband, the band does not meet in the back and the skirt is fastened by tying 2 pieces of the “grass”, legs, arms, and neck are articulated, hair is inserted into the plastic scalp, she is soft vinyl rather than hard, golden eyes, unusual.
