War Of 1812 - Pre Civil War Large 2-Piece Great Coat Button Albert UNLISTED VAR

This button ALMOST matches GI.71.Bv on the face (back mark - ‘United States’). However Albert’s only lists a 15MM 2-piece example and this button is approximately 20MM. This eagle is also looking straight down instead of off 45 degrees. Like the smaller GI.71.Bv, the arrows extend outward. This is truly a rare unlisted variant. In addition note that this button is similar to another unlisted button I’m offering, but is different. This button has a grayer hue to it, possibly having some pewter composition, while the other looks to have more brass or copper in it. This one also has slightly sharper lettering & details on the front and back.
