Pressbooks were sent only to theater owners to promote and advertise the movie and are extremely rare especially without cuts.This collection has been of the utmost importance to me and has been stored in a temperature controlled room. When purchasing pressbooks, remember that many were stored in the basements and attics of theaters, and could be damp or marked. I have never added to my collection any pressbooks that were not in very good condition.
Please note that these images were all scanned, so you have a perfect example of what you are getting, I don't believe in far away pictures where you cannot see the condition of the pages. Some pressbooks have thinner pages and the scanner with the very bright light often will pick up the print on the other side, so please keep that in mind when looking at the photos, this does not show when looking at the page and also the scanner may produce shadows or darker areas, mainly on the sides of the pages, which are not there.

Includes ad mats (what theaters used for newspaper advertisements, usually many different styles), pages of original publicity stories, pictures of all of the film's posters, promotions with rare studio photos,  publicity stills (stills and photos are PART OF THE PRESSBOOK, not separate) and much more. Most of the material included in movie pressbooks has never been seen by the public, they are an incredible compilation of information on the film.
Pressbook has NEVER BEEN FOLDED. It is in superb condition for a pressbook from 1947. Very light signs of wear, but no cuts, folds, markings or stains. It would be difficult to find one in better condition, very collectible as it also includes 2 extra 2-page ad supplements originally included with the pressbook by Paramount Pictures.
Please study photos for a better look at this pressbook's condition, these scans are very precise so you know what you are bidding on. Scans can at times produce shadows on the right, left, top or bottom of the image, if you see a dark line all the way down the page and it is not referenced here in the description, it is a product of the scan and not in the pressbook. Please contact me for any questions PRIOR to the auction end.

ARE MAILED UNFOLDED!!! This is why the shipping/materials cost is what it is. I've never had shipping damage with these mailers, which actually cost me .65 per shipment and you have a nice size-fitted plastic cover so your pressbook stays in top shape for years, these cost me $.75 each. We take very good care of these collectables.

. IF YOU SELECT MEDIA MAIL, YOU ARE WAITING UNTIL THE ITEM SHIPS THE FOLLOWING MONDAY (all items are shipping the Monday after the auction ends,,,see last paragraph) plus about 4-9 days in shipping. Priority is usually much quicker, but we still ship everything on Mondays. If you are not in a hurry, Media Mail saves you .00. Priority is not cheap with this size (unfolded) package. I do NOT believe in making a profit on postage. In most cases, including the protective cover and large cardboard size, I lose a few dollars on shipping.
ABOUT MY FEEDBACK:
I have been on Ebay quite a long time. I have always been very fair with feedback and usually it is positive. My feedback was earned through alot of hard work trying my best to please my customers. You will note I have a few negatives now. You just can't please everybody. The feedback that I have received that is negative (3 out of about 1,000), one person never contacted me that they were sent a pressbook with a cut in it, I simply sent the wrong one. I certainly would have corrected the problem immediately if they had just told me. The other 2 are from someone who obviously did not read that I send my pressbooks out on Mondays and they go Media Mail, which was an additional 4-8 days. She expected them in a few days. If you have a problem, PLEASE contact me and I will do everything I can to correct an error. This is my personal promise.
