How to get the 4K 8.0MP resolution:
(1) Please make sure that your TV monitor is 4K or better than 4K resolution, and connect the DVR to your TV monitor.
(2) Setup the system, and go to Main Menu- Set up-Basic to change the "Video Output" to "3840 * 2160" manually.
Noted:
The default setting of the DVR is 1024 x 768.
If the monitor resolution is lower than 4K, than the system will not show the 4K resolution.

With remote app , you can view video feeds live, receive push notifications and watch any previously recorded footage. You’ll never miss out on a moment, no matter where you are.
Different Recording Mode
Record Continuous:
Your DVR will continuously record regardless of what is Happening.
Schedule Record :
The schedule is presented as a 24-hour 7 days a week grid and is color coded to represent the event type.
Motion Detection Record:
Your DVR will only record when motion is detected. It could help to record more time with the 2TB hard drive.
Recycle Record:
This option allows your DVR to overwrite the oldest video files on the hard drive.
